Dallas Business Journal had the “successfully sue your lawyer” ad for Johnston Tobey Baruch on the back cover recently. This is one of three JTB ads now running in the DBJ and D CEO Magazine.
This current advertising campaign emphasizes the strength of the Johnston Tobey Baruch law firm in three specialized areas of litigation – legal malpractice, fiduciary litigation and investment fraud. The firm also practices in business and commercial litigation, accounting malpractice, insurance bad faith and in appeals of civil, criminal and family law cases.
“These ads are a rapid departure from the norm in law firm marketing,” says Larry Upshaw, CEO and Creative Director of Texas Law Marketing. “Most of the lawyer ads you see are a bunch of guys in dark suits staring back at the camera. They are about the lawyers themselves. These ads are about you, the prospective client. They say, ‘If you are wronged by your lawyer, business partner or investment advisor, we know how you feel and what you can expect from us.’
“These ads also show the creative, outside-the-box thinking of Johnston Tobey Baruch lawyers,” Upshaw explains. “I don’t know very many lawyers who are confident enough to allow the use of such strong visual messages. It’s not hard to see how this same creativity translates into how they plan and execute your litigation.”
The ad campaign will continue through October.
