All four shareholders in the trial and appellate firm Johnston Tobey Baruch were selected to the 2019 Texas Super Lawyers list, with firm shareholder Chad Baruch earning honors as one of the Top 100 lawyers in Texas and in Dallas-Fort Worth.
A recognized constitutional scholar Mr. Baruch was selected for his appellate work. The firm’s two co-founders, managing shareholder Randy Johnston and shareholder Robert Tobey, made the Super Lawyers list for representing plaintiffs in professional liability cases. Both have made the annual peer-review listing since its inception in 2003. Johnston Tobey Baruch is known for its lawyers’ deep experience in litigation, legal and accounting malpractice, employment law, arbitration and appellate advocacy. All three name partners are Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization: Mr. Baruch for Civil Appellate Law, Mr. Johnston for Civil Trial Law, and Mr. Tobey for Consumer and Commercial Law.
“It’s fitting and appropriate that each member Johnston Tobey Baruch has been selected,” says firm co-founder Randy Johnston. “If one thing sets us apart, it’s our surgical and efficient team approach to litigation. We work together effectively and well, and our clients benefit.”
For the second year in a row, shareholder Coyt Johnston was selected to Super Lawyers, having previously been a Rising Star honoree for four years. He earned recognition for representing plaintiffs in professional liability disputes.
Thomson Reuters’ Super Lawyers selects honorees based on nominations from more than 70,000 practicing lawyers in Texas. A blue-ribbon panel of attorneys assists with final selections, and less than 5 percent of all Texas lawyers earn the honor each year. The Super Lawyers list is published in the October issues of Texas Monthly and the Texas edition of Super Lawyers magazines. The full list is available online at http://www.superlawyers.com.
