The Dallas law firm of JohnstonTobey, a Texas leader in professional malpractice, business litigation and appeals, is now Johnston Tobey Baruch.
The Texas trial and appellate lawyers are pioneers in the handling of cases involving legal and accounting malpractice, investment fraud, and insurance bad faith. They also handle business disputes, commercial litigation, and fiduciary litigation, as well as civil, family and criminal appeals. Johnston Tobey Baruch serves as the litigation arm of several prominent Texas companies.
The name change became necessary when Chad Baruch, a well known appellate lawyer, recently joined the firm. JTB attorneys can now handle cases from the outset through appeals, all within the firm.

Johnston is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law, Tobey in Consumer and Commercial Law and Baruch in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Baruch is the 2015 winner of the Gene Cavin Award, the top award given by the State Bar of Texas each year for lifetime contributions to continuing legal education. He is also Chair of the Texas Bar College.

Johnston and Tobey founded their firm in 1997. Coyt Johnston, Randy’s son, joined in 2008. While each JTB attorney handles his own cases, the team works together on large cases.
